UCSO deputies trained in crisis intervention

The Union County Sheriff’s Office shared its most recent Crisis Intervention Team graduates following a ceremony earlier this month. The CIT program trains deputies and dispatchers at the UCSO, providing them with the tools necessary to recognize a mental health crisis and potentially de-escalate situations. Pictured from left are graduates Deputy Rachel Snyder, Deputy Jason Snipes and Chaplain Robert Condict and Lieutenant Josh Kent, shown at right, attended the ceremony. (Photo submitted)
