High school golfers win matches

The North Union boys and girls golf teams each earned a victory on Monday.

In the boys match, the Wildcats defeated Grandview Heights 173-181 at Marion Country Club.

Ethan Monroe led the way with 38 and was followed Alex Jolliff (41), Rawley Risner (45), Hudsyn Wilson (49), Will Jones (49) and Jenson Stover (50).

The Lady Cats downed Indian Lake at Prairie View Golf Club 190-215.

Laney Workman was medalist with a score of 42.

She was followed by Gabby Lindsey (47), Miri Taylor (50), Lily Hall (51), Lanie Spencer (51), Leah Bledsoe (52) and Lexi Golinghorst (55).
