NU, JA exchange bowling victories

North Union and Jonathan Alder each claimed victory in bowling matches held last Tuesday at Dragon Lanes.

The Pioneers won the boys match 2700-2459 while the Lady Cats won 2292-2182.

North Union’s Zach Howald set a school record for a two-game series as he had games of 216 and 277 for a 493 series in the boys match.

Leading Jonathan Alder was Braden Warren with a 440 series that included games of 227 and 213.

Other bowlers for the Pioneers were Fred Bluhm (385) and Drew Damron (369). Bowling one game each were Grant Headings (204), Jaiden Henderson (195) and Gavin Murphy (173).

Also bowling for North Union Logan Otten (455), Braden Rhodes (298) and Lucas Tanner (266). Bowling one game each were Gavin Amrine (159) and Riley Otten (126).

Alyssa Frisco paced the North Union girls team with a series of 399 that included a 209 game. Lexi Bahan also had a 209 game on her way to a 387 series. Montana Donohue had a 348 series and was followed by Olyvia Frisco (315) and Emma McCaul (298).

Ella Cameron led Jonathan Alder with a series of 366. She was followed by Macie Lane (361), Lydia Roseberry (311), Dani Berger (283) and Ellie Wilkin (279).
