Sheriff’s Report

A deputy at the Union County Sheriff’s Office arrested Christopher M. Stevens, 24, of Richwood, for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:04 p.m., Dec. 10. He was released on bond.

Deputies and a Richwood Police Officer went to a home on Wood Street in Richwood at 9:19 p.m., Dec. 10, to arrest Tiffany A. Combs, 43, of Marysville, for an outstanding arrest warrant. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

A deputy responded to the intersection of Miller Road and Route 31 at 6:37 p.m., Dec. 11, to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2021 Jeep Cherokee that slid through the intersection due to weather conditions and struck a silver, four-door sedan that continued on from the scene. A crash report was taken.

A deputy spoke with a community member from a business in the 31000 block of Route 31 at 2:26 p.m., Dec. 11, in reference to a dispute. No report was taken.

Deputies and units from the Northwestern Joint Fire District, Marysville Fire Department, Northern Union County Joint Fire District, the Allen Township Fire Department and Delaware County EMS responded to a residence on May Street in Magnetic Springs at 7:06 a.m., Dec. 12, for a possible electrical fire. The Northwestern Joint Fire District handled the investigation.

Jeremiah J. Brill, 22, of Richwood, was cited for failure to control a dog after deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 8000 block of Brightside Drive at 1:35 p.m., Dec. 12, to investigate a dog bite involving Brill’s dog. No report was taken.

A deputy was dispatched to a home in the 23000 block of Storms Road at 7:47 p.m., Dec. 12, for a dispute between family members. No report was taken.

At 3:08 a.m., Dec. 13, a deputy responded to the 18000 block of Miller Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 1995 Chevrolet E20 that struck a deer. No report was taken.

Deputies and a unit from the Richwood Police Department and the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of an adult male missing from a home in the 27000 block of Kinney Pike at 7:01 p.m., Dec. 14. He was later located by a Delaware County deputy and returned to his residence on Curtis Road. No report was taken.

Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Joint Fire and EMS District responded to a residence in the 18000 block of Richwood Miller Road at 8:16 p.m., Dec. 14, for a person threatening self-harm. No report was taken.

Deputies along with units from the Northwestern Joint Fire District and Marysville Fire Department responded to a home in the 19000 block of Raymond Road at 9:34 a.m., Dec. 15, for an 83-year-old man that was found deceased. The Union County Coroner was called to the scene and a report was taken.
