Village officials discuss laws on murals, signs

Richwood Council is considering adding laws for murals and signs in the village.

At a previous meeting, Council President Reddy Brown introduced the idea to regulate murals in the village ordinances. Richwood Bank is currently working on a mural on the south end of their offices behind the bank facing the post office.

Brown said examples of some rules for murals could be regulating the size of the mural and creating maintenance requirements. He also mentioned regulating electronic signs by deciding the brightness of the signs.
