Man charged for attempt to smother woman

A Marysville man could be facing a decade and a half behind bars after allegedly attempting to smother his live-in girlfriend and threatening to kill the members of his household.

Steven L. Horch, 56, of 263 Longwood Place. Horch is charged with two counts of strangulation and one count of abduction.

According to court documents, on Sept. 8, police investigated a domestic incident at 263 Longwood Place. The individual said Horch would not let his live-in girlfriend leave the home and had physically assaulted her. According to court documents, the individual told police that Horch “threatened to kill everyone in the home.”
