Wildcat gridders struggle in cross-conference rivalry matchup against Jonathan Alder
A three-score barrage to finish out the first half led Jonathan Alder to a 35-0 home game win over North Union on Friday.
The Pioneers (2-2) scored their three touchdowns in final five minutes of the half and then added an other tally to open up the third quarter.
“It got away from us in the second quarter,” North Union Head Coach Nick Hajjar said.
The second quarter has been a black hole for the Wildcats (1-3) this season.
They have been outscored 55-6 so far this season in that frame.
Alder scored on its first possession of the game.
North Union was able to get one first down on its first possession but could do no more and the Pioneers…
