NU boys cross country takes ninth in Buckeye Valley Baron Blast

North Union’s Felix Plouck finished 10th last Saturday at the Buckeye Valley Baron Blast boys cross country meet.

Plouck’s time was 18 minutes, 8.69 seconds.

North Union finished in ninth place as a team.

Other Wildcat runners were Mack Marlette (54th, 20:48.96), Max Leavitt (57th, 21:21.20), Colton Smith (70th, 22:10.94), Drew Chadwell (87th, 23:09.20), Traven Reber (90th, 23:29.70), Bradley Cline (96th, 24:46.70) and Wyatt Roby (100th, 25:51.95).

North Union had three runners finished in the top 12 of the girls race but did not have enough runners to earn team points.

Kailin McElroy claimed the ninth-place slot in the time of 21:15.52, Lauren Hall was 10th (21:15.56) and Kennedy Ludwig was 12th (21:16.43).

Savannah Amstutz finished 49th in the time of 25:54.57.
