County plans for employee pay raises

An increase may be coming to the county’s compensation plan.

Ginger Yonak, Union County’s human resources director, told the commissioners last week that as prices have increased everywhere, so should the pay ranges of county employees. likely will the cost of employees at the county.

She said she wanted to talk about the update before the county gets too deep into the annual budget process so if there is an increase, departments can consider what additions might be necessary next year.
