Richwood Farmers Market set to open in new park location

The farmers market makes its grand opening this Thursday at Richwood Park.

At the regular city council meeting on Monday, Kelly Jerew said there will be live music as well as free food on opening day, located at the new location at shelter house one at the lake.

“(From) 4-7 p.m. will be free food, free hotdogs, chips, (and) water. We’re going to have a band, Fulton Creek Bluegrass Band is coming to play, they’re going to set up around the gazebo,” Jerew said.

She said that there will be around 11 vendors at the event. Some of the 2024 vendors include Greer Acres Family Farm LLC, Bokes Creek Orchard, Ottawa Bota Farm, S& S Homestead, Simply Authentic LLC, and First Baptist Church of Richwood, …
