North Union baseball and softball programs scrimmage ahead of 2024 spring season

The North Union baseball and softball teams each got on the field on Saturday for scrimmage competition at North Union.

It was the first time this year the two teams were on the field with someone other than their own players.

The baseball team took on Marion Harding with the Presidents earning a 6-5 victory.

The Lady Cats took on Pleasant. No score was reported.

They each have two more scrimmages scheduled before the start of the regular season.

The baseball regular season starts Saturday as the Wildcats will host Elgin with first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m.

The Lady Cats journey to River Valley on March 25 with a scheduled start time of 5 p.m.
