Local cagers compete in CBC All-Star game

North Union had six players compete on Sunday in the Central Buckeye Conference All-Star game at Urbana High School.

The game matched the top players from the Mad River Division, which North Union is a member, and Kenton Trail Division,

Playing for the North Union boys were Max Parish, Nolan Draper and Miles Hall,

Hall finished with 19 points, connecting on five three-point field goals, Draper counted six points and Parish had four points.

Kenton Ridge won the game 85-81 in overtime.

Audrey Benedict matched Hall’s effort in the girls game with 19 points. Zoe Wedding totaled three points while Brenna Martino did not score but grabbed six rebounds.

Kenton Ridge won the game 82-53.

Ryan Grose was Mad River boys coach while Bre Jackson coached the girls team.
