Magnetic Springs sewer project progressing

While the bid for the Magnetic Springs sanitary sewer system project may be slightly delayed, project leaders said it is still on track to be completed next year.

Local officials and community members met Tuesday to update residents on cost estimates, the latest timeline and how those living near the planned connector line will be affected.

Commissioner Dave Burke was in attendance Tuesday night and updated the Union County Commissioners Wednesday morning, saying the project is going “about as smoothly as possible.”
