NUMS tally pair of wins

Emmy Eastman of North Union Middle School looks for an open teammate during Monday’s seventh-grade Central Buckeye Conference tournament game against Northwestern. The Lady Cats won the game 31-23. North Union Middle School picked up a pair of wins on Monday in the second round of the Central Buckeye Conference tournament at North Union. The seventh grade team defeated Northwestern 31-23. Sam Price and Emmy Eastman each had 10 points for the Lady Cats. In the eighth-grade contest, North Union posted a 41-24 victory over Jonathan Alder. Glory Blevins netted 12 points while Morgan Mask totaled 11 points. (Gazette photo by Bob Putman)
