Lady Cats pounce on visiting Shawnee, 73-12

Coming off a nail-biting loss to Bishop Ready earlier in the week, the North Union Lady Cats made quick work of Springfield Shawnee on Saturday.
Jumping out to 29-2 after just one quarter of play, North Union went to a 73-12 Central Buckeye Conference victory.
“We had a tough one on Wednesday, but it was good to get everybody back together,” Head Coach Bre Jackson said. “We did a better job of moving the ball around and knowing where our players were on the court.”
In the first half when the Lady Cats (10-3 overall, 6-0 CBC) moved the ball around it often found senior guard Zoe Wedding in open space.
