North Union grapplers take 12th at Woodmore Invitational

North Union competed this past weekend in the Woodmore Invitational and finished in 12th place.

Five wrestlers earned five wins tournament.

They were Zack Ellis (120), Kannon Alvarado (126), Braylen Riffle (132), Kingston Alvarado (138) and Tyler Cline (215).

A.J. Leeson (150) won four matches while Rylan Riffle (106) won three matches and Ben Bonnell (138) and Kadrin Riffle (144) each had two wins.

The middle school team wrestled in the Triad Invitational and was third overall.

Earning first-place finishes were Jaystin Beeney, Collin Welch and Wyatt Stacklin.

Bradley Cline, Broden O’Reilly and Jack Kemp each finished third overall. Finishing fourth were Jaxon Mabery, Noah Huddleston and Kory Ransome while Brody Rote finished fifth.
