Mill Valley night-mare neigh-bors

Carolyn Bean lives both in Mill Valley and next door to a small herd of horses.

Bean said a neighbor recently built a small barn and brought three miniature horses into their backyard.

“We were not able to enjoy our backyard this year in the summertime because of the odor from these animals. It is very disturbing,” said Bean.

She said the odor was “extreme.”

“You can imagine three in a small backyard,” Murphy said of the horses, adding that these are “not tiny little horses,” but closer to the size of ponies.

She said in addition to the horses, there are chickens, rabbits and goat…
