Referendum back on the November ballot

“Anybody coming in to vote on Wednesday from Marysville will see the question on their ballot.”

That’s the message the Union County Board of Elections wants voters to hear when early voting opens Wednesday.

On Saturday, just days before in-person voting is set to begin, the Supreme Court of Ohio unanimously overturned a vote of the Ohio Secretary of State, placing the referendum of a Marysville annexation back on the Nov. 7, 2023, general-election ballot.
