Richwood gets Ohio EPA water equipment grant

Richwood will be receiving new equipment thanks to a grant from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.

At the village’s regular council meeting Monday night, Monte Asher, the village’s administrator, told council he received notice from the EPA on the grant agreement.

“It’s good news for the village. We’ve been waiting a while on being able to get this equipment,” he said.

The agreement is for the H2Ohio Equipment Grant for line-locating equipment that Asher said will help the village better work on water and sewer lines under streets in town. “This lets us find lines and be able to mark them so we know where they’re a…
