North Union boys golf falls short against Pleasant and Shawnee

North Union’s varsity boys golf team tallied two consecutive losses to Pleasant and Shawnee recently.

NU vs Pleasant

The North Union boys golf team lost to Pleasant 176-166 in a non conference match at Mill Creek. Doubles and a couple of triple bogies hurt the Wildcats.

Miles Hall led North Union with a score of 42 and followed by Wyatt Davis (43), Austyn Wilson (45), Jaxon Jolliff (46), Ethan Monore (51) and Tayden Peck (52).

NU vs Shawnee

The North Union boys golf team dropped its Central Buckeye Conference match against Shawnee at Reid Park Thursday in Springfield 166-173.

The match was delayed 30 minutes for lightning and then played in a steady downpour the last six holes.

Miles Hall led the Wildcats with a final count of 41. He was followed by Wyatt Davis (43), Ethan Monroe (43) and Jaxon Jolliff (46).

North Union returns to action on Monday against Pleasant at Mill Creek.
