OSP campaign doesn’t end with holiday

As part of the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s continuing efforts to make Ohio’s roadways safer, troopers are continuing to focus on impaired driving enforcement.

“The Marysville Post continues an ongoing effort to make Union County roadways safer,” said Lt. Shawn Cook, Marysville post commander of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. “Troopers are continuing to focus on removing impaired drivers from our roadways.”

According to the OSP crash dashboard, between 2020 and 2022, Union County saw 161 alcohol- related crashes. Through the first six months of 2023, Union County has had 21 OVI related crashes according to OSP.
