Drug take-back event on Oct. 24

Union County law enforcement agencies, in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Adminis tration, Memorial Hospital, the Union County Drug Free Coalition and other local agencies, will sponsor a prescription drug take-back event Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at five locations throughout the county.

The free event gives residents an opportunity to safely dispose of expired, unused and unwanted prescription medications.

Collection locations include: – Union County Sheriff’s Office, 221 W. Fifth St., Marysville.

– Pleasant Valley Fire Department, 650 W. Main St., Plain City. – Jerome Township Fire Station, 11840 Ewing Road, Plain City.
