Official route for annual Snake Dance Parade

The official route for North Union’s upcoming Snake Dance Parade has been finalized.

The parade, which is set for Wednesday, Sept. 16, has an altered path this year to account for the current construction of phase four of North Franklin Street in the village.

School officials are encouraging community members, parents and students to review the parade route details for this year’s Snake Dance.

At 6 p.m., the parade will begin at the Richwood Lake and Park for staging just like last year. It will then proceed left on Grove Street; left on Oak Street; right onto North Franklin Street; right onto West Blagrove Street; right onto Fulton Street; left …
