Sheriff’s Report
From Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
On Aug. 25 deputies, along with units from the Ohio State Patrol and Northwestern Fire District, responded to the intersection of Johnson Road and Route 739, for an injury crash involving a semi and a passenger car at 2:57 p.m. The Ohio State Patrol handled the investigation.
Denys W. Goodrich, 19, of Lewis Center, was issued a traffic citation for failure to control after deputies and units from the Northwestern Joint Fire District responded to the intersection of Hoover Moffitt Road and Route 47 on Aug. 26 at 2:12 a.m. to investigate an injury crash involving a 2025 Honda Civic that missed a turn, overcorrected and came to a rest in a yard. A report was taken.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 18000 block of Miller Road to investigate a report of a person threatening self-harm on Aug. 26 at 2:22 a.m. One person was transported to Memorial Health for evaluation and no report was taken.
A deputy assisted units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District and the Ohio State Highway Patrol in investigating an injury crash that occurred on Miller Road and Osborne Road on Aug. 26 at 1:11 p.m. The Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
A deputy investigated a report of child abuse that occurred at a home in the 24000 block of Main Street in Raymond on Aug. 27. It was found that the child had not been physically abused.
A deputy was sent to a residence on Aug. 28 at 2:28 p.m. in the 18000 block of Miller Road to investigate a possible stolen gun. A report was taken.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District were dispatched on Aug. 28 at 5:01 p.m. to a residence in the 20000 block of Peoria Lopp Road for a domestic dispute between several family members. After further investigation, Tony E Crabtree, 44, of Raymond, was arrested for domestic violence. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail. A report was taken.
At 8:57 a.m., Aug. 29, a deputy was dispatched to a home in the 18000 block of Route 47 to investigate a dispute between family members. No report was taken.
Deputies were dispatched to a home in the 18000 block of Main Street in Broadway to investigate a report of a juvenile being unruly and attempting to run away at 10:03 p.m., Aug. 29. No report was taken.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District responded to a residence on South Main Street, in Magnetic Springs, to investigate an overdose at 11:39 p.m., Aug. 29. One person was transported to Memorial Health and a report was taken.
As a result of a traffic stop on South Main Street in Magnetic Springs, a deputy arrested Jacob W. Bowshier, 34, of West Jefferson, for an outstanding warrant from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at 12:44 a.m., Sunday. Bowshier was turned over to a Franklin County deputy.
At 4:53 p.m., Sunday, a deputy assisted the Richwood Police Department with a domestic incident at a home on East Ottawa Street in Richwood. The Richwood Police Department handled the investigation.
While on patrol in the 28000 block of Route 31, a deputy arrested Troy D. Tomlin, 36, of Raymond, for an outstanding arrest warrant at 6:14 p.m., Sunday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
From Marysville Division of Police reports:
Debra A. Kelley, 65, of Raymond, was cited for failure to control following a property damage crash. At 8:39 p.m. Aug. 25, Kelley was driving a 2012 Ford Fusion northbound on Industrial Parkway and crossing over the railroad tracks when she went off the right side of the road and became stuck on the tracks. The vehicle was later removed from the tracks.
Malachi Izzac Robbins, 22, of Magnetic Springs, was arrested on a protection order violation at 380 Cooks Blvd. at 2:26 a.m., Sunday.
