North Union soccer team falls to Urbana

At this early stage of the season, the record of the North Union girls soccer team is obviously not where head coach Bill Leroy would like the Lady Cats to be.

However, Leroy is still very confident as to what lies ahead.

“The big picture is we are 0-5, but it just doesn’t feel like an 0-5 team,” Leroy said following a 5-3 home field loss to Urbana. “It feels this close for us to be breaking out.”

Over the last four years Urbana has been one of the top teams in the Central Buckeye Conference, earning no less than 10 wins in each of the last four seasons.
