Sept. 2, 1926
Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Bell, west of town, entertained several relatives and friends with a birthday dinner Sunday. (list of those in attendance follows) – – Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Woolard entertained with a six o’clock dinner Saturday in honor of the birthdays of Dr. B.P. Hall. Elmer Joliey, Jr., of Dayton, and Conrad Wilson, of Crooksville. Their combined ages was 99 years. – – The Aid society of the Baptist church were entertained by Group 9 at the home of Mrs. Zella Warren on Wednesday afternoon. The opening exercises were followed by a miscellaneous program. During the social hour ice cream and cake were served.
