Sheriff’s Report
From Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
In the 33000 block of Route 37 on Aug. 17, a deputy was dispatched at 12:36 p.m. to investigate a dispute between a husband and wife over marital property. No report was taken.
Deputies, along with a unit from the Northern Union County Fire & EMS District, responded to a residence in the 30000 block of Alder Road for a person experiencing a mental health emergency at 9:02 p.m., Aug. 17. They were transported to Memorial Health and a report was taken.
On Aug, 18 at 7:10 a.m. Deputies assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol, along with units from the Northwestern Fire District, with an injury crash in the 24000 block of Route 4. The Ohio State Highway Patrol handled the investigation.
A deputy responded to the 10000 block of Route 47 at 8:31 p.m., Aug. 18, to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala that struck a tree. A crash report was taken.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 21000 block of Route 347 for a trespassing complaint involving an unwanted person on the property that got a 2004 Ford Expedition stuck in the yard on Aug. 19 at 7:46 p.m. The person was removed from the property and no report was taken.
In the 20000 block of Snare Road, a deputy and units from the Northern Union County Fire & EMS district responded to a home at 1:41 p.m., Aug. 21, to investigate an injury crash involving a piece of industrial equipment that flipped and had the driver temporarily pinned underneath it. The driver was transported to Memorial Hospital and a crash report was taken.
Deputies were dispatched to a home in the 19000 block of Raymond Road to investigate a report of a missing elderly female at 2:38 p.m., Aug. 22. The female returned home and no report was taken.
A deputy was dispatched to the 15000 block of Route 347 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2026 Subaru WRX that struck a deer at 5:36 p.m., Aug. 22. No report was taken.
A deputy met with an officer from the Richwood Police Department to take custody of Donna M. Suttling, 48, of Richwood, on an outstanding arrest warrant at 7:26 p.m., Aug. 22. The female was transported to Tri-County Regional Jail and a report was taken.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 20000 block of Main Street in Raymond to investigate a theft from the business at 11:12 a.m., Aug. 23. A report was taken.
At 9:26 a.m., Sunday, a deputy responded to the intersection of Route 4 and Wolford-Maskill Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Chevy Cruze and a 2025 Honda HR-V. A crash report was taken.
Elizabeth A. Terry, 59, of Magnetic Springs, was cited for theft at Walmart, 555 Coleman’s Crossing Blvd., at 9:03 p.m., Aug. 22.
Shyanne N. Ennis, 21, of Millersport, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and a 17-year-old was also arrested for falsification and obstruction after an investigation by deputies and the Marysville police officers. At 9:06 p.m., Sunday, deputies responded to a home in the 18000 block of Poling Road for a dispute. After further investigation, deputies and officers responded to a business in the 500 block of Colemans Crossing to continue the investigation, where Ennis was arrested and transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail. The teen was transported to the Central Ohio Youth Center.
From Marysville Division of Police reports:
Zachary Scarberry, 24, of Richwood, was cited for driving while under the influence on North Main Street at 2:32 a.m., Aug. 21. He was released to a sober party after processing at the police station.
