Richwood man charged with having a gun, driving on magic mushrooms
A Richwood man was indicted for allegedly being on magic mushrooms with a loaded gun while speeding on the highway during the Fourth of July.
The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Joseph Lee Jordan Jr., 21, of 350 N. Franklin St. in Richwood and charging him with one fifth-degree felony count each of aggravated possession of drugs and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle stemming from a traffic stop on July 4, 2026.
According to court filings, Jordan was driving a 2021 Ford pick-up truck westbound on U.S. 33 in Millcreek Township going 90 mph.
