Two Richwood residents charged with crimes against children

A pair of Richwood residents have been charged separately for alleged crimes against children.

The Union County Grand Jury indicted Sean L. Griffin, 39, of 208 Forest Lane, charging him with 13 felony counts each of pandering obscenity involving a minor of both the second degree and fourth degree as well as 13 counts of illegal use of a minor in a nudity-oriented material. That is 39 total felony charges.

According to court records, Griffin created or published obscene material that “has a minor as one of its participants or portrayed observers,” on March 21, 2025. The indictment also claims that Griffin came into possession of material involving a minor.
