North Union Baseball grabs first CBC win after walk-off win over Benjamin Logan
North Union baseball coach Todd Wilcox remembered back to a situation that happened during one of the Wildcats’ pre-season scrimmages. With the bases loaded in that earlier scrimmage, Wilcox had his team execute a safety squeeze bunt and it was able to score a run.
Fast forward a few weeks to Monday’s home game against Central Buckeye Conference rival Benjamin Logan, With one out and the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth inning, Wilcox once again flashed a signal to the batter for a safety squeeze bunt.
