Field Source gives NU maintenance update

The North Union Board of Education heard a presentation from its sports field consultants, Field Source, who gave a look ahead to maintenance efforts for 2026 – which will mark the fourth year of collaboration with the district.

At the regular meeting of the board on Monday, Ryan DeMay with Field Source said that the field maintenance budget for 2026 is set at $82,350, which is a 4% increase from 2025. The district has invested millions of dollars into its grounds, including a total of $1.8 million in assets for its sports fields and $4.4 million in assets for the total school grounds.
