Council approves raises for village staff members

Richwood council unanimously approved the promotion of Eric Kincaid to be the next village administrator effective April 1, 2026 and with the change comes some raises for village staff.

Kincaid – who is the water and sewer operator for Richwood – is now set to fill the role after the current Village Administrator Monte Asher retires at the beginning of April.

Council announced the promotion and raises after an executive session during its regular meeting on Monday. Council member Von Beal said that the current responsibilities of the village administrator will be divided up between Kincaid, Fiscal Officer Sarah Sellers and Public Works Supervisor Nick Withrow.
