Ballot finalized; one removed from state race

Union County Board of Elections officials approved the candidates and issues list for the spring primary.

The board met last week to solidify the list just a few days after the filing deadline for the May 5 election.

While five candidates were initially listed for Ohio House District 86, one of them didn’t meet the requirements for the filing petition so four candidates will vie for the seat currently held by Tracy Richardson.
