Lady Cats overwhelm Graham, extend league winning Streak

North Union completed a fifth straight undefeated Central Buckeye Conference on Wednesday as the Lady Cats defeated Graham 63-43. The victory also extended North Union’s winning streak in league games to 51.

Its last league loss came on Feb. 3, 2021 when it lost 54-41 to Benjamin Logan. That was not the only history-making event. Senior guard Kennedy Harrah scored 16 points in the game and reached the 1000th- point mark for a career.

The Lady Cats (10-0 CBC, 18-3 overall) led Graham (7-3, 13-7) 16-13 after the first quarter and extended the lead to 33-20 at the half. A 16-5 advantage in the third quarter sealed the win for North Union. Joining Harrah in double figures were Glory Blevins with 19 points and Kailin McElroy with 12 points.

North Union
