North Union, Fairbanks SRO price to remain unchanged for 2026

A couple of school resource officer (SRO) contracts up for discussion last year will not change in the near term.

The Union County Commissioners passed a series of measures recently that approved the contract and fiscal agreements between the sheriff’s office and both the Fairbanks and North Union school districts.

“There’s no change. I know we’ve had previous conversations about the sheriff having discussions with the school districts on updating these. These do not do that,” said Bill Narducci, the county administrator. “These are consistent with last year’s agreements.”
