Wildcats’ turnover troubles lead to Fairbanks win in non-conference play

For the second game in a row, North Union ran into trouble executing its offense.
Like what happened in a loss to Urbana, the Wildcats had too many empty possessions and suffered a 69-49 lost Saturday, Dec. 27, at home against Fairbanks.
North Union committed 20 turnovers against the Panthers, leading to a pair of scoring runs that Fairbanks paved its way to the win.
“We turned the ball over at too high of a rate to expect to win any game,” North Union Head Coach Austin Terrill said. “We have got to get better at handling the defensive pressure. Fairbanks took us out of our game plan.”
