Sheriff’s Report

From Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:

A deputy was sent to the 21000 block of Raymond Road at 6:20 a.m., Dec. 9, to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Audi A6 that struck a deer. A report was taken.

At 3:16 p.m., Dec. 9, a deputy was sent to the Multi-County Correctional Center in Marion to take custody of Vernon L. Jones, 56, of Richwood, on an outstanding arrest warrant. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire Department were dispatched to the intersection of Route 47 and Hoover-Moffitt Road to investigate a possible injury crash at 5:21 p.m., Dec. 10. No report was taken.
