NU grapplers will lean on experience this season

North Union’s boys wrestling team seeks to pick up where last season concluded.

Last season, the Wildcats did not see any of its representation at the Division III state tournament. A difficult sectional tournament at Ridgedale was to thank for leaving only two grapplers alive for the district competition.

There were 28 schools represented in the sectional tournament last season.

Despite that, NU Head Coach Garrett Andrews was pleased with the overall 2024-25 season. The program had no seniors on the roster at that time.
