NU bowlers prep for winter season

The North Union boys and girls bowling teams are in opposite of each other.

The boys teams returns several key members of last year’s team while the girls team lost several bowlers to graduation.

“I got four varsity letterwinners returning on the boys team and I am excited to see what we will do this year,” Head Coach Matt Donohue said. “With six seniors graduating, this year’s girls team is a complete rebuild so we know it is going to be a struggle.”

Returning for the boys team are seniors Zach Howald, Chase Copas, Lucas Tanner and Riley Otten.

Howald had the highest average last year at 182 per game. Otten averaged 170 and was followed by Copas (156) and Tanner (111).Read this entire article as it appeared in print in our eEdition
