The Lady Cats had a very busy weekend, playing games last Saturday and Sunday.

The Lady Cats split the two games, winning at home on Saturday against Shawnee (67-44) and losing to Hillsboro (62-51) on Sunday in the Battle of the 614 at Ohio Dominican University.

Before playing Hillsboro, North Union picked up wins in its first four games, using a very up-tempo style on both offense and defense.

“For us to be successful we have to try and play at a fast pace,” Head Coach Mitchell Loomis said on Saturday. “By playing fast we are taking some risks but if we can put people in vulnerable spots we can win possessions.”
