Christmas arrives in Richwood

Area residents enjoyed holiday offerings in the Village of Richwood this past week as several Christmas events were held. Above, parade goers donned in camouflage raced to collect candy during the village Christmas parade on Saturday, Dec. 6. The parade saw 29 entrants competing for the coveted best float award and the winners were Smoky Bears Grill and Chill and Trans Cycle Industries (TCI). The parade ended at the Richwood Park, where the North Union band played music for the crowd. At right, Rowan McCurdy, 8, of West Mansfield, popped into the Richwood Bank to talk shop with Santa Claus about all things toys during the Christmas in the Village event on Thursday, Dec. 4.
