Wildcats advance in postseason bracket with win over Greeneview

The play on the field may not have been completely to the liking of North Union head football coach Nick Hajjar.

But when it counted the Wildcats made all the right plays at the right times and they have extended their season by another week.

North Union (7-4) scored a pair of touchdowns in the second half while holding Greeneview (7-4) scoreless to come away with a 21-6 victory last Friday in a Division V Region 20 first-round playoff game at North Union.

“We had some self-inflicted wounds that hurts drives,” Hajjar said. “But our defense settled in and played really well the entire game.
