NU girls soccer program suffers first-round loss to Bishop Ready

The history-making season of the North Union girls soccer team came to an end on Tuesday.

The Lady Cats lost 5-1 to Bishop Ready in a Division IV sectional semifinal at NU.

They finished the season with an 8-8-2 record, giving them their most wins ever in a season.

North Union was seeded fifth, its highest-ever seed for a post-season tournament, and hosted its first tournament match in the history of its fouryear program. “Realistically.
