Lady Cats claim conference title with win over Northwestern

North Union and Northwestern have pretty much matched each other’s progress throughout the 2025 volleyball season.

Both teams were 4-4 at one time and each have recorded double-digits victories since then.

It was probably fitting that on the final week of Central Buckeye Conference league schedule the Lady Cats and the Warriors would meet Wednesday to completely decide the Mad River Division.

As a result of a win over Benjamin Logan on Tuesday, North Union came into the match with at least a share of the league title, no matter the outcome of Wednesday’s match.
