Wildcats come out on the positive side of high scoring affair against Urbana
North Union had a pretty good idea it was going to be in a shootout on Friday during its nonleague contest at Urbana.
The Hillclimbers went into the game averaging 36.5 points per game, but they were also yielding more than 46 points per contest. However, in the run-up to the game, the Wildcats probably were not expecting the defense to provide key plays that would add to their point total.
Getting interception returns by Wyatt Arver and Xavier Gruber for touchdowns to go with scores on offense, North Union outlasted Urbana 46-27. The defense complimented an offense that totaled 467 yards.
