Richwood Civic Center

By Susie Pfarr, Executive Director

Well, I guess you can tell that I have dropped the ball. I am so sorry for not writing an article for all of you to read. Things around here got really busy, and I just plum forgot until Janet said something to me this morning.

We had a great time at the fair and I hope you did too! We served roughly 281 meals and gave away $375 in cash prizes! Looking forward to next year!

Here at the Richwood Civic Center, we are gearing up for the two Boston trips that will be taken this month. On Oct. 1 we will start taking reservations for our April 12, 2026 – April 18, 2026, St. Augustine/Jacksonville Florida trip. $75 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your place. The total cost of the trip is $900 for members and $925 for non-members. You can also sign up for our October mystery trip starting on Oct. 1. Our mystery trip is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 21 and the cost is $20 due at the time you sign up.

Also, Oct. 8 is card-making day at 2 p.m. The cost is $5 due at the time of signing up. You will be making several different cards and having lots of fun. Seats are limited so get signed up early. Have a great week.
