First half turnovers by North Union help visiting Pioneers secure 42-23 victory

There are 48 minutes of clock time in a high school football game, unless it goes into overtime.
During that time, the ebb and flow can be hard to control.

For a good part of Friday’s non-league contest, North Union was able to play Jonathan Alder pretty much at a even pace.
But a two-minute stretch late in the first half doomed the Wildcats as the Pioneers came away with a 42-23 victory on the North Union turf. Jonathan Alder scored 21 points during that time, allowing them to take a 35-7 edge into the halftime locker room.
