Lady Cats suffer setback against Indian Lake during second conference matchup

The final score was not the plus the North Union volleyball team was searching for in its home Central Buckeye Conference matchup against Indian Lake.

However, even with the 21-25, 23-25, 27-29 loss, the Lady Cats (3-3 overall, 1-1 CBC) showed a lot of things to feel positive about.

First things first, North Union, despite facing large eight-point deficits late in two of the three sets, it was able to rally back to earn a chance to get a victory.

“The girls did a good job of not really looking at the score,” Head Coach Alexis Maenz said. “They just knew we could take it a point at a time and do whatever was needed to get back into the game.”
