Wildcats fall short to Marion Pleasant in non-conference road game to start season

North Union’s first game of the 2025 football season was not completely decided until the final minutes.

The Wildcats had their chances, but in the end it was not to be as they lost 16-13 on Friday at Pleasant.

North Union got within the final margin with 4:14 left in the fourth quarter following a 19-yard touchdown pass from Nickolas Hajjar to Dainon Lindsey.

But it could not get the defensive stop it needed following the touchdown.

Pleasant earned three first downs and was able to run out the final minutes.
