Richwood Civic Center

By Susie Pfarr, Executive Director

Fair, Fair, Fair! At the Richwood Civic Center, we are busy getting ready for Fair time. On Friday Aug. 29 is Senior and Veterans Day at the Richwood Independent Fair. Entertainment starts at 11 a.m. with a free lunch being served at 12 noon. Bingo starts at 1 p.m., which gives you an opportunity to win lots of prizes. This is going to be a fun packed day.

On Saturday, Sept. 13 we will be hosting our Ruth Woods Fun Run/Walk. Registration starts at 8:15 a.m. with the race starting promptly at 9 a.m. Come run or walk and join the fun. All proceeds benefit the Richwood Civic Center which was founded by Ruth Woods.

Also just a note that we do not have a mystery trip scheduled for September. We have two long trips that are requiring Roxie’s time, but we will still have all our fun activities during the week. Have a great week.
